I work on the principle that psychotherapy needs to be tailored to meet your particular needs, rather than the other way around.
As a psychologist specialising in psychotherapy, I draw on the main approaches (existential, psychodynamic, CBT) depending on what will be most helpful to you at whatever stage we are at in our work.
Research consistently shows it is the quality of the therapeutic relationship that is key.
